Made from highly durable solid wood (Chinese Fir) from well managed sustainable forests, this rocking chair is packed with attractive details and practical designs! Just look at the beautiful scallopped edging to the seat and the wonderfully comfortable, curved back. The wide flat arm rests give you loads of room to relax.
It's hard to believe that such a beautiful piece of garden furniture will give you countless years of pleasure with minimal maintenance - but it's true ! Despite all its sensual curves, the slatted design is both robust and very practical.
The rocker comes with an excellent coating of preservative and has a 'natural' finish look. However if desired this rocker may be painted to match your own colour schemes. The finish of this rocker takes normal paint very well - Looks great in bright colours!
The woods used in the construction of this fine chair are Chinese Fir (Cunningham Lanceolata) & Chinese Hardwood (Castanopsis Cuspidate). Both are from conservation oriented sustainable plantations in China.

Excellent, easy to put together, even for me!!
Really comfy, much better then I thought it would be,
feels very sturdy, only had it a week but am already thinking of getting another one as my girlfriend has priority at the moment!

Bought on strength of amazon reviews, fantastic chair, looks great, quite lightweight but seems sturdy enough. dead easy to assemble. just one question - shoudl it be painted/protected before it goes outside. it's so nice I'd like it to last.

I wanted to replace an old faithful adirondack chair we've had sitting in our garden for a few years and they are so expensive. I was amazed and thought for this price what's the catch? Read the reviews, bought the chair, it arrived promptly, really well packaged with all bits present. It took me half a day to assemble with a power screwdriver (I was expecting this as others had said), and when I had finished it did look very new and piney. 2 coats of glossy paint later (bright green) and I can honestly say thank you Amazon Reviewers. It was a brilliant buy, fantastic value for money, and I do not know what we would have done without it this long hot summer.

I fell in love with this rocker, I didnt use it outside I was looking for a rocker to put in the nursery and this one ticked all the boxes, it was easy to put together, I did it myself when I was 7 months pregnant, it was the bump that was difficult and getting in the way, but I still managed it.. The arms where perfect for sitting a bottle on whilst doing the night time feeds, the chair is so comfy I would have to wake my husband up as he often fell asleep in it with the baby in his arms, this chair will stay in the nursery for quite some time, the night feeds are over and as our little one grows it will become the storey telling chair at bedtime. I would highly recomend this chair weather it is for the garden or indoors. it beats any bog standered rocking chair as it oozzes style and comfort, I tried many before I bought this one.

I am absolutely delighted with these chairs - we bought two and had them both assembled in half an hour. They look brilliant on my deck and are really comfortable. Great value for the money too.
