Can be really good September 9, 2010 Chrissie (Sweden) OK, so English is not my mother tounge, but I will still try to share my opinion on the paper log maker.
Me and a friend of mine each bought one of these, thinking that it would be a way to make use of all the advertisment that we get in our mail. We found that it wasn't that easy. That kind of glossy paper is of no use in the paper log maker. It also took us a while to realize that you have to tear the paper into smaller bits, and also leave in the water for an hour do dissolve a little bit. Otherwise it won't hold to be a paper log.
But the log maker itself is really easy to use and looks like it will hold forever. I now look forward to a really cold winter to see how much warmth they will bring. And here in Sweden, it can get very, very cold...

brillant machine July 20, 2010 P. Kenward (Wales U.K.) We bought this product to try and first of all save money and seondly to recycle our newspapers and of cours the never ending bills! The product is sturdy, simple to use and quite brillant, although the logs tent to take a while to dry off. We have burst some ( with our british summers which tend to be naff!!). and they burned quite well,. However they do need 'back up' either wood or coal to keep them burniung bright. Glad I bought it though.
Brick maker July 12, 2010 Tish Works well, takes a while to dry out. Got a good stock of bricks ready now for the winter. Its amazing how much paper, card and anything eles burnable can go into the bricks. make more room in your bin for anything else you can not recycle. Very good buy.
