5 out of 5 stars The Best Service EVER!!   September 4, 2010
P
This was just the best service ever. We ordered our new TV on a Monday late night and was with us by Wednesday mid morning. It does exactly what it says on the tin, with no nasty surprises. It's awesome for watching films and playing computer games, which i'm guilty of doing A LOT.

You get what you pay for. Good budget TV, but is let down by the appallingly lame EPG. The 'guide' gives you only info on the next couple of shows on the channel you are on. If you want to see what's on another channel you have to switch to it. There are many other faults with the EPG, but if you have another freeview box/Sky etc none of this is an issue. Would suggest some speakers too, as the sound's not the best........

4 out of 5 stars Value for money   June 7, 2010

For the price a great tv but you are not buying a high end product. Build quality is robust but at the same time the chassis is quite light and easily wall mountable using standard size fittings. Picture quality is good and multiple inputs available but resolution only up to 720. Only 2 negatives in my view are the fact that there is no on off switch so has to stay in standby and secondly the tv guide is cumbersome and dated. Other than that if you are not expecting an all singing and dancing tv it's very good value for money..

4 out of 5 stars Good television -- no real complaints   June 2, 2010

Good television at great value. It does exactly what you'd expect a television to do and it's really easy to set up.

My only small gripe is that when browsing the tv guide, you are unable to continue watching the channel you are on. Every time you go to another channel on the guide, the television changes to that channel.

No problems so far.

5 out of 5 stars un-beatable quality for a great price.   June 1, 2010

Having bought High-end tellies in the past, I did a fair bit of research on the web before making a decision, the Toshiba price is one of the lowest for a quality make, the picture is as good,if not better than the Sony it has replaced, freeview picture and reception is definately better! sky HD picture and sound are improved,set-up always causes me concern, the Toshiba could not be easier! set up and running within 15 mins from un-packing!, the remote is a bit flimsy, but works well, all in all I am Very happy with it,(just bought the 26" version for the bedroom) Amazon service, great as usual,
