Having really struggled to wrestle my baby in and out of a sling style carrier, I wish I'd bought one of these earlier and not wasted my money. Its really easy to put together and I have managed to remove a sleeping baby successfully from the carrier :) As the straps detach from the front, I've found the sling easy to cram into a shopping bag and saved many a supermarket shopping trip from meltdowns this way as my baby will happily sit in the carrier when the car seat trolley will no longer do. I have machine washed it once and its faded slightly. Its too early to say whether the sling will be uncomfortable when my baby gets heavy but so far (at 18 weeks) I'm very pleased with the BabyBjorn.

I've been really pleased with this carrier. I find it really easy to put on and to then get my baby in! I like the way the back support opens out and you can then have the baby on your lap to then get them in to the carrier. This carrier also looks good!

I agree that the quality of the material is good etc. But it the back support is bad. There are carriers with lumbar support that are way better. My baby is now 5 months old, I have strong back mucles cause I've been swimming for years and I just can't use it. With a heavy baby you will walk 15 minutes and not only feel tired but with pain around your shoulders. My husband complains about it as well. I wish I had bought a carrier with lumbar support.

This BabyBjorn Carrier is easy to put on and off. It's not difficult to place baby inside and it's comfortable for both mum (and dad!) and baby. I love the color!
It can be folded so that it actually fits into my handbag. This is great as I travel a lot and I like to have it with me for those moments where you need both hands, but doesn't have a trolley for the baby.
If I was going to use the carrier a lot more, ex. for long walks, I would buy a better one with more support on the bag, but for me this is really good.
